Background /

A German poet by the name of Monika Rinck wrote a piece called Verkörperung or Embodiment in English. I was given the task of creating a visual piece that reflected the poem.

Approach /

Each piece stands for nothing when separated from each other, but together they embody the meaning of the poem. The three pieces are part of a puzzle that leads the user through a visual representation of the poem. The machine-like typeface sets a distinguishing tone from the more loosely created illustration.
